Moss Micro Strawberry Pot
Moss Micro Strawberry Pot
The micro strawberry is called a begonia due to its appearance but don't be fooled as it is actually Saxifraga stolonifera! Either way it is a beautiful low maintenance plant styled with moss, in a pot.
PLEASE NOTE, your micro strawberry may lose its red color during shipping and turn green due to lack of light. Be careful not to scorch the leaves, but if you'd like the leaves to be redder, expose them to more light.
Wichurae moss stay short. It likes moist, but not too wet. After 3 months it will be greener like short grass. But DO NOT let it dried out too many times. If dried out too many times it will be turn yellow red colors. But it will be new growth to cover it in few months.
At Moss Design Gallery we use grow lights for all of our moss products, ensure the lights are between 6,500k - 7,000k in color for 10 hours a day OR you can use a east facing window! Make sure you don't leave the grow lights on all the time, the moss needs to rest!
Hypnum moss take care way similar with wichurae moss, but hypnum moss need more air flow. It doesnt like in always close container with hot, wet and no air flow.
